There are many water purifier brands in India, enough to confuse you. So if you ask me which is the best water purifier brand in India in 2019, my top pick would be Havells brand. Even though Havells introduced their water purifier line in mid-2018, I believe it is a quality product backed by a strong service support. I have been personally using it and I am very satisfied with it. Kent is the market leader and naturally makes the cut among Top 3. I would also recommend the virtually unheard brand, Nasaka.  I have also consciously left out some well known brands such as Pureit because either the service or the product quality is not up to the mark. I will never recommend to you something that I will never buy for myself.

Water purifiers come in many varieties, most common which is just RO or RO+UV (ultra violet). This could be very confusing to the buyer, especially with plenty of choices available in the market. Water purifiers with RO+UV is slightly expensive compared to only RO purifiers.

Criteria to keep in mind before purchasing a water purifier:

  • Source of water
  • After sales-service
  • Cost (Initial and maintenance)
  • Storage capacity
  • Warranty

Since, cost is one of the top 5 factors, we will help you to find the best water purifier in India that fits your budget while keeping your family healthy.

9. Conclusion

You would have noticed that many well known brands are missing in this list. Well, I would recommend only those products which I don’t purchasing myself. The last thing I would do is recommend sub standards products.

For instance, see the below comment I received in Quora. This person had issues with this brand and had to replace membrane 4 times a year. Whoa! Isn’t that scary? Exactly, for this reason you will always see some well known brands missing in my list.

Thanks to my RAZOR process that helps me to sieve out brands that do not meet our quality.
